How Messages & Credits Work
Each plan includes a monthly message allowance. One message = one AI reply sent by your agent. When the allowance runs out, the agent stops responding until you top up or the cycle resets.
Message allowances by plan
| Plan | Messages / month | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Free | 50 | Resets monthly. No top-up available on free plan. |
| Starter | 1,500 | Top-up via +1,000 or +5,000 message add-ons. |
| Pro | 4,500 | Top-up via +1,000, +5,000, or +20,000 add-ons. |
| Business | 15,000 | Top-up via +1,000, +5,000, or +20,000 add-ons. |
| Enterprise | Unlimited / Custom | Agreed at contract time. |
How credits are shared
Credits belong to the organisation, not to individual agents. All agents in your workspace draw from the same shared pool. A high-traffic agent will consume credits faster and may reduce what's available for other agents in the same workspace.
Tracking your usage
Go to the Usage page in the main workspace sidebar to see:
- •Credits used this billing period (with a circular progress gauge against your limit).
- •Credits remaining and the next reset date.
- •A day-by-day usage history chart, filterable by last 7 days, 30 days, or this month.
- •A breakdown of credits consumed per agent (pie chart).
How the AI model affects usage
Different AI models consume different numbers of message credits per reply:
- •Fast / economy models (GPT-4o Mini, etc.) — 1–2 credits per reply.
- •Balanced models (GPT-4o) — 5–10 credits per reply.
- •Premium models (Claude 3 Opus, etc.) — 15–25 credits per reply.
When you run out of messages
Your agent will stop responding to new messages once the monthly allowance is exhausted. You have three options:
- •Purchase a message add-on (+1,000 / +5,000 / +20,000 messages) to top up immediately.
- •Upgrade to a higher plan with a larger allowance.
- •Wait for the automatic monthly reset at the start of your next billing cycle.
Credit reset
Credits reset automatically at the start of each billing cycle. The exact reset date is shown on the Settings → Billing page and on the Usage page. The reset date stays the same each month — it is the day you originally subscribed.
